Sheehey is pleased to announce that partner Kevin A. Lumpkin has joined the Board of Directors of Dad Guild, a Vermont nonprofit that connects, educates, and supports dads across the state.
Founded in Burlington, Dad Guild describes itself as “a fun, inclusive, supportive community of dads, by dads, for dads.” The organization offers playgroups, peer support, parent education, and family events that help dads build connections and grow as caregivers.
Kevin’s new role builds on a long record of community service. He serves as Treasurer and Board Member of Vermont Works for Women and as President and Burlington Trustee of Town Meeting Television. He is a former Chair of the Winooski Development Review Board, a past Chair of the Vermont Bar Association (VBA) Young Lawyers Division, and a former member of the VBA Board of Managers.
Kevin also serves as the VBA’s representative on the Vermont State Ethics Commission, and as an attorney member of the Vermont Judiciary’s Civil Division Oversight Committee.
At Sheehey, we believe serving our clients well goes hand in hand with serving the communities where we live and work. As the firm celebrates 100 years in Vermont, we are proud to support Kevin and all of our colleagues who give their time and leadership to organizations across the state.
Please join us in congratulating Kevin on his new role.
