Sheehey Furlong & Behm P.C. is pleased to announce that James T. Dunne joined the firm as Of Counsel on May 1, 2024.
James has been practicing for over 15 years and brings both in-house and private practice experience providing strategic legal advice on commercial and corporate transactions, financing, and contracts. He has significant experience in commercial real estate, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, land use and zoning, construction and development, and project finance. James is also accomplished in the drafting and negotiation of commercial and industrial construction and related contracts. His practice at Sheehey will include serving as outside general counsel to our business clients as well as assisting clients with corporate and real estate transactions and contract matters.

Prior to joining Sheehey, James served as Associate General Counsel to a large regional construction company with corporate headquarters in Vermont. Prior to that, James was a partner at Stone Pigman Walther Wittman, a 60+ attorney firm in New Orleans, Louisiana. James lives in Richmond with his family.
