Firm principal Mark Melendy will be a featured speaker on a three-person panel at two upcoming CLE events hosted by the Vermont Bar Association. On June 6, 2024 the panel discusses the recently enacted Uniform Directed Trust Act, and on June 7th, the recently enacted Uniform Trust Decanting Act. Mark was a member of the Vermont Bar Association committees involved with drafting both of these Acts. The presentation will focus on how the statutes work and how they enhance estate planning practice in Vermont.
