Civil litigation partner Kevin A. Lumpkin participated in a multi-day jury trial in federal court in June, successfully defending his client against claims of defamation. The jury returned a verdict in favor of Kevin’s client on five of six claims, and awarded nominal damages on the sixth. The trial was held in Burlington before Judge William K. Sessions III.
