Sheehey Furlong & Behm is proud to congratulate attorney Mark Melendy, Esq. on his appointment to the Advisory Committee on the Rules of Probate Procedure by the Vermont Supreme Court.
Pursuant to Administrative Appointment No. 988, issued during the February Term 2026, Mark was appointed to serve as a member of the Advisory Committee for a term ending January 31, 2029. The Committee, chaired by Probate Judge Kathryn A.C. Kennedy, advises the Vermont Supreme Court on the rules governing probate procedure statewide.
This appointment reflects Mark’s depth of experience and standing in Vermont’s legal community. A Shareholder at Sheehey, Mark’s practice focuses on estate and trust planning and administration, business succession planning, and tax advice — work that makes his appointment to a committee shaping Vermont’s probate rules a natural fit.
We congratulate Mark on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to the contributions he will make to Vermont’s probate practice.
