Sheehey Furlong & Behm welcomes Heather Ross. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ross spent many years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Vermont as a federal prosecutor and defending the United States in employment, medical malpractice and administrative actions. Ms. Ross has prosecuted numerous complex fraud cases, multi-state drug trafficking cases, and human trafficking cases. Before she joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ms. Ross practiced at another prestigious Vermont law firm where she focused on employment and labor law. Ms. Ross has regularly lectured on employment law and human trafficking issues. She is a 1995 graduate of William and Mary Law School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Smith College in 1991. Following law school, Ms. Ross served as a judicial law clerk to United States District Court Judge William K. Sessions III. Ms. Ross will focus her practice on investigations and general litigation, including employment litigation and white collar criminal defense.
